INDEXA NEWS (Press Release)
The International DX Association, INDEXA, has been one of the major sponsors and contributors to DXpeditions for over 33 years. Until now donations from U.S. amateurs could not be con- sidered a tax deduction for your personal taxes. In early April INDEXA received the IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt status that now allows a tax deduction for donations.

DXpeditions to the rare DXCC entities that we all count on are getting harder and much more expensive. Investing in advance can help INDEXA with larger grants to these and other rare ones that have not even been announced yet publically. Remember, receiving a tax deduction for supporting your favorite hobby is a nice perk.

Check out the INDEXA web site at www.indexa.org for our past history and future DXpeditions we have already supported. Membership and tax deductable donations can be made on the web via our secure system or through our direct mailing address on the bottom of the web page.

May we continue to enjoy the thrill of the QSOs to the rare DX entities by helping to financially assist in their success in advance. Support INDEXA......
73, Gary Dixon, K4MQG -- INDEXA President

REALTIME BAND CONDITIONS WEB SITE http://www.bandconditions.com:
The purpose of this experimental Web site is to provide 24-7-365 actual (REALTIME) band condition information to CW QRPp, QRPe and CW/SSB for Contesters interested in increasing their scores. It can also be of benefit to other Radio Amateurs to determine band conditions for Nets and casual QSO's. This information is NOT based on any software pre- dictions or any kind of satellite based readings. It is based on a new Ionospheric sounding method called "HF Ionospheric Interferometry" which operates very similarly to the PolSAR system used by NASA.
