G3NOM QSLS. Tom, GM4FDM, reports (edited): "As some of you may know, I am the QSL Manager for Ray, G3NOM, and have all (or most) of his log books for his various travels. Again, as some of you may know Ray had a major stroke some time back and has not been on the radio since and is doing VERY poorly. Today I received a package from one of Ray's friends in Thailand containing a number of QSL cards which have been received in Thailand either direct to Ray's home or via the Bureau.
Some of these QSLs go back quite a long ways and contain old style IRCs etc. I shall try to honor all these requests but returning cards either by the bureau or direct as they arrived irrespective of whether the IRC is valid or not as they were all valid when posted. Please bear with me, and I shall do my best to get this done as quickly as possible. Please do not trouble Ray or his XYL with any more QSL requests. I have a large number of blank cards, and as I said earlier, all or if not most of the logs. The only cards I cannot verify are for 160m just prior to Ray's illness. As you know 80/160m was only allowed in Thailand on a few special occasions, and I always verified the 160m QSOs with Ray before responding, so if you have a 160m QSO, then unless it is very clear in the logs, then I cannot help you.
I have logs for: 5B4/G3NOM, 9M2OM/P, 9M2/G3NOM, 9M2OM, A52OM, E22DX, E28DX, G3NOM, HS0AC/2, HS2AC, HS0/G2NOM, JT4/G3NOM, S21U, S2/G3NOM, XY1HT and ZC6/G3NOM. I also have logs for V8NOM, BUT I have NO QSL cards for this one. Please feel free to E-mail me any questions. 73 de Tom GM4FDM" ADDED NOTE: Tom's E-mail address is: tom@gm4fdm.com
J20RR/J20MM QSLS. Silvano, I2YSB, informs OPDX that all the QSLs for J20RR and J20MM have been sent out (over 2300 cards).
QSL OH0B via OH2BH. Operators Toni/OH2UA and Martti/OH2BH were breaking ice when traveling to Brando, Aland Islands, to activate OH0B in the Russian DX Contest this past weekend. This is their first outing in 2007 to observe how all the antennas have survived the freezing winter at 60 degrees North.
